Indeed true, Anna. It is experience that teaches us and only then we know things for sure, their true meaning, their importance. Only things explored by yourself will remain in mind and heart forever.
Very true! It's totally up to our own wisdom to learn the real lessons in life. Some do that all the time and some are not able to do that in a whole lifetime.
Hi! This is most certainly true in my case but it has nothing to do with my career. If you love something so much, you'll run with it and learn everything there is to know about it. In my case it was database design and I saw this as a way of having fun in work-time. It's a shame I couldn't have said that when I was going to school!
Wonderful quote indeed! This is so intrinsically true...as a person who believes in past lives, I must say that there are stuff that we bring from the past that our parents ask "who taught him/her this?" and after a while we find ourselves asking the same questions "how did I know this? Where did I learn this?" etc...
I think at some point, we can all relate!
When you posted this quote, were you thinking about motherhood?
